Pastor John Brake

Pastor John and his wife Yolly started the Filipino American Bible Fellowship as a house church, with meetings at several locations within an hour of their home. As the church grew, its largest cells sprang up in Austintown, near the campus of Venture Church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. The church was soon large enough to be considered an official church plant, and the group began holding regular meetings at a building in Austintown which they quickly outgrew. John now pastors the Filipino American Bible Church which holds weekly meetings on the campus of Venture in a ministry partnership.

Roger Abe (Teresita) moved here in 2017 from the Philippines and are working with John Brake (Yolly) in planting this church among the Filipino American community. They have an adult son, Nathan.
